MISS UK NEPAL - 15-10-2014

MISS UK NEPAL

MISS UK NEPAL

Winning the MISS UK NEPAL crown it’s a huge achievement and through the experience and training I have grown as a person and learned to see life in a different perspective. I believe I have learned to become the strong and independent women that we are today. The whole Miss UK Nepal journey has been a life changing experience. As we all know that we have a certain idea about what Miss UK Nepal is all about. But being a part of the show I have come to realize that Miss UK Nepal journey is a journey of rediscovering yourself. You get that opportunity to explore your own strengths and weaknesses and overcome them. It’s not about being perfect but having that willpower to never give up and be a better person then you were yesterday. At the end of the day, your inner strength to face the challenge is what makes you your own hero. It is amazing to win the title itself but the most amazing part of the journey was to have spent precious moments which I will always remember. Nevertheless, when you get to meet friends who are so supportive and loving just like your sisters, you feel like home. There were so many moments which made us laugh, cry, stressed and sometimes wanting to give up but it was too late. I have learned that if you want to achieve something then you have to be prepared to go through all the sweats and hard work but in the end you will forget it when the journey in the end seems so much worthwhile.

It’s a privilege to be the first every Miss UK Nepal from our family who has had the guts to do something different as I am sure it is the first step to be an example so that people can see a change in the society. Having said that, the love, support and encouragement from all the family members have truly inspired me and I am grateful and it is truly appreciative.

Miss UK Nepal is a competition which is sometimes taken granted for but beauty pageants like this really helps young generations to establish a career and identity in our communities and then it is up to us how we want to be role models. Women’s should be given opportunity so that she can shine. Hence, I want to say to everyone, “Whatever you want to do in this world, it is achievable. The most important thing that I've found, that perhaps you could use, is be passionate and enthusiastic in the direction that you choose in life, and you'll be a winner.”
